Right there everyone...

Just a quick little message to let all know we had a cracking last couple of weeks of october and a cracking first two of november.
october finished off with the much anticipated halloween party. for me parties that are highly anticipated can quite often be a flop, but no way was this. the hostel came out in force with all sorts of crazy looking costumes. i myself was optimus prime from the tv series transformers. the glider said i looked gay but who cares what that nutter thinks. the worst part about my costume was that i forgot to paint it until the last minute so was walking around most of the night high on paint fumes. still, was great craic, i did my usual houdini act at about 3am when getting rid of punters became too much so i left it to our trusty workers.
Well, that was october gone, so we then had to gear up for the Empire Rider downhill mountain bike event which was being organized by red bull. Luckily enough LOKI Cusco managed to organize all the red bull and event organizer crowd to stay for about 2 weeks. This 2 weeks was something I was a bit nervious about as you would think LOKI really isnt the place that people trying to organize a serious event would stay. As it happened, it turned out to be probably the best two weeks I have had in the hostel. Not only was it a change in crowd with none of them being the usual Irish or English(which i must add isnt a bad thing at all), there was an overdose on red bull. If you know me, you will know I am privvy to a bit of the old Red Bull gives you wings.
The grand finale was a cracker with a private function at the Fallen Angel. It really wasnt a typically wanky Fallen party as Red Bull gave the invitations out which included all the guests staying at LOKI who were up for a bit of craic that night. Myself and Osgur managed to scam free red bull and vodka all night which was a bonus as my god that place is expensive allthough we did manage to blow what money we did take with us on some shitty arse bottle of champagne. The night finished in the hammocks with a large beer in hand at 10am. I woke that evening to order Pizza and do the following weeks roster which i totally forgot about and ended up doing at 6am on Monday morning.
So that was it, a total drinking binge(darragh, i reckon we sold more bi jessys in two weeks than we ever have of those shitty gliders) but and excellent two weeks.
Unfortunately I paid for ahaving tto much fun and was bed ridden for the next two days not being able to move. When will I learn. ohh well, until next time.

Fair play jesse seems like you pulled off those few weeks smoothly as was obviously going to be a few tough weeks and great to be able to say we have held a big event there now for future references to people.

All going well for me here in australia now just chilling out watching the start of the ashes and think england will get there ass kicked as the aussies have done so much hype on it this year after losing it last year and i reckon its being great for the game of cricket as stadiums packets because of it.

I have covered a fair few miles here already within aus with going round seeing suzies family and friends but suzie is back in ireland already and within a day told me she over the irish weather. Im thinking of heading to perth a week earlier so i get to ireland a week earlier and will get to spend more time with her then before coming back to you boys.
